Audible’s Project Listen Up is a charitable effort to celebrate Audible’s 20th Anniversary and the Newark, NJ community where the company is headquartered. Over the course of the last month, the company gave free Audible memberships, more than 160 pre-downloaded audiobooks, an Amazon Fire tablet and headphones to 15,000 high school students and teachers in Newark. The team at Jack Morton not only managed all of the distribution, logistics and events for Project Listen Up but also called upon its local NY and Princeton staff to volunteer and help manage the distribution to homeroom teachers and students across the city. The Jack team rolled up their sleeves and worked alongside Audible’s staff, including CEO Don Katz, on this massive philanthropic undertaking to spread the joy, generosity and love of audio content.
